Current Goal

We found this coin in a geocache and decided to make it into a travel bug.  Since the coin is in honor of Brigadier General Robert W. Marcott, we decided that this travel bug should go to as many Air Force bases or cities near bases around the world.  This is in honor not only those that haven served in the Air Force, but those who have served in all branches of the military.  Thank you for your service.

    As mentioned in the previous log, I picked this up near McDill AFB in Tampa. Although I was in the AF myself (many years ago), I don't think I will be near any other AF bases in the near future so will have to place this TB somewhere to be picked up and moved in normal GC fashion.

    Picked up this trackable while visiting my daughter in PA. Bringing it to FL, hopefully to a cache near MacDill AFB in Tampa.

    Update: 04/25/2014 - had a volunteer day at work today. We teamed up with Tampa Bay Watch to plant grass at a saltmarsh at MacDill Air Force Base. Took this trackable along for a photo op and to move along to another cache. The TB is now in another cache not far from MacDill and hopefully will move to another soon.
