Current Goal

Having sampled the rather scorching temperatures of Phoenix, these Arizona keychains are ready to sample some cooler temperatures up north!

About This Item

Please enter the temperature of the cache location here in the logs and let's see how cool they can get. As you can see by the photo, it was 115 degrees when the photo was taken south of Camelback Mountain...they'd like to come home eventually after travelling around the northern U.S. and/or Canada and cooling off! Also attached are keyrings for other famous Arizona sites which have caches: "Standin' on the Corner..." and Meteor Crater. Both are fun and right off of I-40. And for good measure, a clip-on keyring thingy that glows red when squeezed is affixed, just in case you get caught out cache-hunting at night :)

Coincidentally seen on the home page of the TB while searching for another TB
I hope that´s ok? else just delete my log please - thank you anyway 🙂
Sadly it seems that the TB is lost, since it haven´t moved for more than 16 years 😮

I have retrieved it from team26.2 and haven't seen it since I dropped it off for the first time in NYC back in 2003...people have added additional keychains and other trinkets, too! The thermometer keychain was lost somewhere along the way, so I will be adding another one and then re-releasing it to the wild in the near future.

Thanks to everyone who's carried this little guy along so far!

  • TB well-traveled Over 12,000 miles and counting, thanks everyone!

Grabbed Dry Heat from Aspen Girl in Ca. It was about 70 degrees. We are headed to Arizona then on to South Dakota. Its about 100 degrees here in AZ. Will place Dry Heat in South Dakota at the end of the week. What a great Travel Bug. I added a AZ key chain to the collection. 🙂
