This TB is one of 3 created in a memory of SAAF B-24 Liberator and its crew: H.J.BROWN, B.Klette, A.Faul, B.Jones, E.Winchester, H.Upton,S.Davis who flew to drop help to uprisers in Warsaw in 1944. The plane was shot down and made emergency landing close to GC4G0RD http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=ed49d307-c8ab-44bd-9acc-fd68899b0513. H.J.BROWN was injured and died one day later.

On 16th august 2013 the cache GC4G0RD was visited by people from South Africa and on this occasion we have released these TB's.

We hope this TB will travel far and wide in South Africa. Many thanks for giving us this TB whilst we were passing through Warsaw in August 2013.
We have started the journey at the first reputed 'restaurant' in the Cape. This spot was used during the 18th Century as a signalling station to give warning of ships entering Hout Bay
