GODZILLA, the King of all Monsters, wants to carve a path of destruction across the Earth, destroying major cities while at the same time protecting us puny humans from the more 'evil' monsters like GIGAN and MEGALON. Please keep him moving around the world so he can do his holy work.
Godzilla is an incredibly huge, nearly invulnerable, dinosaur-like radioactive monster with the ability to blow destructive nuclear plasma mist out of his mouth to ignite, explode, or melt things at considerable distances. He first appeared in Japan in 1954, and was then known as Gojira.
Gojira started off as a grim and deadly serious horror monster, but Godzilla eventually lightened up into the role of protector of Japan, fighting the 'best' of what the movie studios could produce. Godzilla can (eventually) defeat any giant mutated creature, with the possible exception of GAMERA.
And Now the Song:
With a purposeful grimace and a terrible sound
He pulls the spitting high-tension wires down
Helpless people on subway trains
Scream 'MY GOD!' as he looks in on them
He picks up a bus and he throws it back down
As he wades through the buildings toward the center of town
Oh no, they say he’s got to go
Go, go Godzilla
Oh no, there goes Tokyo
Go, go Godzilla
Rinji news o moshiagemasu!
Gojira ga ginza hoomen e mukatte imasu!
Daishkyu hinan shite kudasai!
Oh no, they say he’s got to go
Go, go Godzilla, yeah
Oh no, there goes Tokyo
Go go Godzilla, yeah
History shows again and again
How nature points out the folly of man...
Godzilla!

What a great idea for a TB! I will be heading to the beach in a week and a half so I will drop it out there somewhere to keep it moving along. My son really wanted to keep this guy but I was able to pursade him...all in the spirit of caching!(That and he found something cool he could keep at the next cache!) TFTTB.

Found him terrorizing the hills of Corvallis, not much left for him to feed on. I'm going to let him loose in Albany, but it shouldn't take him long to devour the town... Perhaps if he doesn't move quickly, I will take him to Portland!

My very first TB find! Cool stuff. I will drop it off somewhere in the Willamette Valley next week. It was odd this morning not to see anybody out on the mud flats clamming - eerily quiet - wait, I think Godzilla burped when I picked him up! So much for the calming effect of the ocean breeze!

Our short visit with Godzilla went none too quickly! He's difficult to keep under control! We hope the fresh ocean breezes where we left him will sooth his soul before he carries on his adventures with his next victim(s). We did manage to get him right up to the water's edge! 😉

Yakenfratz must have moved Godzilla to Central Oregon where he spent the winter lazing in the Hot Springs of Summer Lake... that's where we found him, refreshed and ready to rampage again! He says he's longing for the smell of the sea, so we'll try to move him closer to the coast. Sure was a surprise to find him, our first TB ever. Thank you!
