Our 100th find was Perfect Holden Sunset (GC32KTX) on Holden Beach, NC, found on 10/25/12, 27 days into geocaching. We were actually trying to attempt another find for our 100th, but couldn't secure a boat for the journey. This one was a beautiful white sandy beach walk at sunset with our whole family, and involved some evasive maneuvering. There was a Lacky coin headed to Seattle in the cache and we were headed that way the following week so we actually passed it to the hands of a Lacky ourselves. Thsnks for sharing your collection of coins.

My 100th find was "Red white and blue by Team Gabe(now NCMtnlvr. Here is my log:
What a Day we were supposed to Meet Ron&Dianne, DearDora&Altrus and do this together but Ron slipped and hurt his back and then I got my signals crossed and wound up at the cache parking lot by myself. I called Altrus and he was on his way. Bookworm and I started doing this cache we did the red and white and just about then Ltl John showed up and together we went on to the red part. After we found the red part we also found a snake skin hanging out of a hole in a tree????,,,About that time it started to rain and Bookworm ran for the Car. (PS she had the clue for the final casche when she ran so I had to call her on cell phone for the final clue. So then Ltl John and I found final cache and exchanged items and started to go back to parking area when we ran into Violet Mom of 4, chatted briefly and headed for car. Altrus,Dear Dora and Bookworm were waiting so we decided to wait out the weather at a food store and then we tried to some more caches but no avail it started raining again. Oh Well maby next time This was back on 13July2003 10Years ago.

Thanks for the discovery....My 100th find was GCTGYN - Guess who's coming to dinner? - Found on 03/02/06. Seemed like it was a park n grab/fake electrical box at a restaurant off of Pelham Rd. in Greenville.

Thanks for the discovery - I hope people do as asked and share their 100 find experiences.

Our 100th find was GC356MQ The Panda Cache. It is a traditional cache but was neat for us because it was the first "special" container we found. The cache container is actually a panda. Since it was early on for us, it was neat to find a nontraditional/traditional. We have since found others that were made out of non-traditional object s but this was our first.

Great idea for a trackable - god luck GeoJoe!

  • Find #100 This is our 100th find and first that was not a standard container.

Thanks for sharing this, GeoJoe.

My 100th cache find was Ft. Yargo Geocache GCA6BA on 12/17/2002. The cache is significant because it is the first physical cache placed in a Georgia State Park after they had prohibited caching in their parks. My neighbor at the time, erik88l-r, created a multistage cache in which information had to be collected from several sites in the park in order to learn the combination for the cache lock. The physical cache itself was placed in the park office with the park manager's permission.

It was fun to collect the information and to earn a smiley on my friend's geocache.

My 100th find was with my wife, 4 year old son, and 7 month old daughter. We found "bucket of toys" at Paris Mountain State on December 23, 2009. It was a cold day and we were ready for Christmas. We had a great day in the park. Great idea for a trackable, glad to be apart of it.
