No Mission
My wife got us this coin to commemorate our recent completion of 365 Days of Geocaching.
We started geocaching in April 2012, though we only found 10 caches in the first 2 months. At that point, we started caching daily, and shortly decided to work on caching every day, yes EVERY DAY!. That meant we cached on Christmas and Thanksgiving, in heat (we once cached in 110 degree weather) and in cold (fortunately it didn't get too cold this past winter). While we generally cached around Chattanooga, we incorporated geocaching into visits to the grandparents, business trips, etc. At this point, we have found caches in 14 states and 1 province in Canada. Within TN, we have cached in 56 of the 95 Tennessee counties, and have 1721 finds so far. We've found 60 of the terrain/difficulty combinations, and caches in 153 of the 160 months caches have been placed. We've also found an activity that exercises both our body and our mind. We've also met a bunch a nice people (almost everybody we have encountered has been very helpful and friendly).
