My mission is to stay with my owner visiting caches and being discovered by other cachers at events.
My owner served in the U.S. Navy from January 1974 to January 1980 as an Electronics Technician Radar, Second Class Petty Officer. The first two years he attended Electronics schooling and then he proudly served four years on the U.S.S. Barbey FF-1088; traveling to many countries.
- Hooyah is the Navy battle cry.
- The Navy's official motto is Semper Fortis which in Latin means "Always."
- The Navy fight song is "Anchors Aweigh" which means the ship is prepared to leave the port or harbor. In other words, “aweigh” means to pull up the anchor.
- “Fair winds and following seas” is a common phrase for those in the United States Navy where it is used to say farewell to those retiring or leaving for deployment. It is also used as a farewell for those who are in or have served in the Navy when they pass.
