This weekend bumanfam Dad spoke to a group of Iowa County Conservation Board members in an effort to better open communications and develop relationships beneficial to the parks and geocachers. It went very well! On our way home, bumanfam Dad and Sgt. Seabass stopped a various locations in search of a fit for an event next fall. We visited with the folks across the road at the historical museum for some info, and in showing them a bit about geocaching, discovered one nearby. Based on the name of the cache, we asked her if there was a footbridge near the Indian mound. She seemed surprised, and said there was indeed, but that it was closed. She offered that the parking lot was good, and wished us luck. It took us about 2.5 seconds to hit the spot after the geovan hit park. Right where we thought! An interesting spot to be sure, and a beautiful day to be out discovering the world around us. Thank you! TNLNSL, TFTC!
