    Mesozoic Madness #17: Out with one of my GSgals before dropping her off at camp this morning and we stopped here. There was a muggle sitting right in front of it so we bailed. Then on the way home, we tried again and were able to make the find. Cute dino.

    Where Hale Touches the Stars: My Girl Scout Troop hiked up here from the campground and wanted to cache. Unfortunately, the reception is poor at best and we couldn’t get a bearing on any of these. We read the hint to find this one and one of my girls made the find. Unfortunately, there are no travel bugs inside. We added some swag, including my signature penguin.

    4:10 to Palomar Observatory: I am camping at Fry Creek with my Girl Scout Troop (who loves geocaching) and we grabbed this one. We had no reception and even though I saved this offline before I went up, there were no maps loading. Only my green pin. I used intuition on this one and made the find.

    One for the Numbers: Quick lunch break and ran out grab a cache during lunch. My first choice was inaccessible due to road construction so I went a little farther. Added my signature penguin.

    Birdhouse: Stopped by after work today. No problem locating the cache. The problem was opening it. The opening mechanism is gone and the door is broken. Once I undid the latch, the whole door came off in my hands. As others have mentioned, there are no travel bugs in this one. Bummer, because I have a couple of birdie ones that would have been perfect to leave here. I don’t want something to happen to them though.
