To stay in the Seattle area; that'll help me forget my time in this curséd town of Centralia, Pennsylvania.
I shall travel and travel until the day I am completely re-invigorated. Sigh ...
I was born at a sunny pond, looking much like most other ducks you may have met in the past: all yellow, horn-free, and quite cute. But then, in my stormy adolescence, I moved to Centralia, PA: the town where the coal fires of hell never stop burning.
Muaaaa ha ha ha haaaa!
Smoke continually hangs in the air, filtering up from underground fires. Homes have caved in due to this constant fire. There used to be a church here somewhere. Streets have been swallowed up or been totally deserted. Vegetation is scorched. Everyone has grown a set of black horns and voted Marilyn Manson as our Homecoming Queen year after year.
Now, look at me .... I don't even like myself very much! I must get out of The Town Before Time, and get far far far from Centralia. I wish to visit places that leave you feeling just great and totally ready for anything the world may throw at you. Places with lots of yummy things to eat, or complimentary feather massages, or special duck baths, or ... well you get my drift. The Falling Zen Waters cache in Florida would be awesome!
Some more background info from the PA Dept of Environmental Protection and from centraliapa.com.
Please do take pictures and upload them. Don't show the numbers on the metal tag, though. They should be known ONLY by cachers who have actually met me in person.

dooley2001, YOU ROCK. I am super glad you looked and looked until you found me.
Thank you so much for delivering this Devil Duckie to me during the dinner line at GeoWoodstock VI. I am glad you spotted me: I was a bit busy serving food to have been specifically looking for you.
He looks good and refreshed after a few years of travel and most recently, this trip to California, doesn't he?
