complete the Appalachian Trail one more time by visiting caches in all of the 14 states affliated with the Appalachian Trail only. (GA, TN, NC, VA, WV, MD, PA, NJ, NY, CT, MA, VT, NH, & ME). Goal to change upon completion.
Aloha!, an addicted long distance hiker, attempted to thru-hike the Appalachian Trail in 2001 but ended the trip at the 950 mile mark with a broken femur and later a cracked tibia. She returned to her beloved trail in 2003 to complete what she started. With no broken bones Aloha! summitted Mt Katahdin in Baxter State Park, Maine on September 11, 2003. It was journey unlike any other. It is her hope that she will one day complete a thru-hike of this AWESome trail. Aloha!
