Yesterday was a real rough day at work for me, and so I was beyond happy that today Laura and I could go on our little getaway. A year ago, we were able to fly from the mainland for a week, this year we had to downsize a little due to my restrains, though Laura and I still managed to plan a very delightful and memorable two night trip in our country’s wine capital. We had two nights at a pretty and brand new hotel in Horní Věstonice, basing our three day trip around the wineries in the area. We had an incredible short trip, filled with funny experiences, absolutely not enough wine, and managed to take some much needed time off from life, literally pushing all responsibilities to the side (probably more than I should have).
Wine, beer, bunkers, hiking, biking, driving, relaxing, trying, exploring… There is so much that we manage to do; I can’t manage to write enough about it all, though I am so grateful that we managed to witness so much in so little time…! As usual, we packed our TBs for the trip, and so this little guy got to come along with us for the trip. Along our drive, we spent most of the time on the highway, but still managed to visit plenty of caches with this TB. This was one of a few we visited today..!

This day was packed with adventure, and no log can bring justice to the places we visited with this TB! We drank wine, explored bunkers, biked over 35 kilometers, and visited some beautiful caches (this being one of them)! I am so joyful that we got to bring this TB with us for another exploration and another place in this lovely country; me, Laura and this TB were happy to visit this stash in the wine capital of the country!
