This Geocoin represents The Geocacher’s Guide to the Center of our Universe also known as the HQ GeoTour, created by employees of Geocaching. Geocaching HQ is located in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle. That makes Fremont the center of our geocaching universe. It just so happens that Fremont is also officially known as the Center of the Known Universe. Coincidence? We think not.
The design on the back of this Geocoin is purposely in reverse and raised such that you can use it like you would a rubber stamp. Get an ink pad and make your imprints.

I cached with my mother for many years, in fact she was the one who borrowed my Brother-In-Laws GPS and got me in the car for an adventure. My days off were our time to geocache, to have adventure and fun, plus give me some exercise. My Mom passed away July 11th 2013 and I kept on caching since the love of it had sunk into my very marrow. My sister posted one day on one of me facebook posts that I had made them curious enough that she had made an account. Floored me. Kimmy had decided to share in my adventures like Mom did even though it would be long distance. We got to talking about what her first geocache find should be... I told her I was close to a milestone and wanted to come up to Geocaching HQ to find the cache in the lobby. I told Kimmy (now the BlondiePirate) that they have open house on Fridays at two... Urch... She asks me if that could be her first cache so she could ask questions of the Lackeys and see how this all works? I said that the cache is for everyone no matter what skill level they are. She must have emailed right than and there because all of the sudden she is texting me pics of her confirmation letter to visit HQ that Friday. Squee and very jealous was I. BlondiePirate picked this coin up for me and some lilypad coins up for the babies. Thank you Kimmy for sharing in my adventures, making an already rewarding experience that much more fulfilling.
