Lost Geodetic Marker

I found this old Ontario Highways geodetic marker or benchmark in a cache where it was described as a brass paper weight. Thinking it might like to search for its origins I've attached a travel bug tag so it can travel the highways of Ontario and maybe find its original home.

Actually found this on 10-31-09. Couldn't log it until 11-2-09 when I returned home from my Sedona vacation. Had to retrieve it since I am originally from upstate New York, near Lake Ontario (Buffalo area; a small town called Medina, NY. Way too much snow for this geocacher.) I now live in Tucson, AZ. I will place this TB in the first, best cache that will make it a nice, temporary home.
