It was Amity Daze here today and our local unoffical town historian dragged out his model ships - some of them, like the Mayflower, are three feet long! I couldn't resist bringing CV and Funky Chicken and Mouse with a Cookie down to inspect them.

    • Tension in the air Two TB's just too different to hit it off, it seemed.
    • Liked to hang out with folks the other didn't Not surprisingly, there were significant differences in taste.
    • Interests And in interests...
    • Common interests Then there is that moment when discovery of a common interest happens. For these two, it was origami!
    • Respect Admiring each other's work.
    • But the road to friendship has bumps Especially when things don't seem fair.
    • Sharing can cement friendships Sharing and a good marshmallow roast can do wonders!

HOLY CYPRINUS CARPIO! I never thought I'd get my chubby little fingers on this TB. It took a Crow flying all the way from the west coast (boy, were her arms tired...*groan*)

What a trip it was to get to 'visit' with a Vking Cheerio that I haven't seen online in ages. Mebbe if I got online more often I could fix that. :P
