Eddie the Eagle (Team GB)

In celebration of the 2014 Winter Olympics, and because I have four Brits staying with me right now, we release the Team GB Travel Bug, named for Eddie "The Eagle" Edwards.

From Wikipedia:
Michael Edwards (born 5 December 1963), better known as Eddie "The Eagle" Edwards, is a British skier who in 1988 became the first competitor to represent Great Britain in Olympic ski jumping. At the time, Edwards was the British ski jumping record holder (a record later broken by others), the world number nine in amateur speed skiing (106.8 mph (171.9 km/h)) and the stunt jumping world record holder (10 cars/6 buses). Finishing last in the 70m and 90m events, he became famous as an example of a plucky underdog or 'heroic failure', and of Britain's low ability at various sports at the time.

Grabbed from Troubled Waters GC5AB33 in Pittsford NY which is sort of close to Lake Placid, site of the 1980 Winter Olympics where many of my fellow ski patrollers volunteered, as would I but I was living in the UK at the time. Will drop it in Bermuda in a few weeks so it can rest before it's next Olympics.
