Goal: Travel from cache to cache in search of BRAAAAINS. Visit Geocaching events. Spread the plague. Please take photos!
Meet Pierre, a zombie who has become patient number 183 in our study of the propagation of the zombie plague via geocaching. Pierre was a Haberdasher and owned a small shop in Frederick, Maryland. Also a huge Star Wars fan, and a collector of clown props, he had amazingly long fingers. He was an only child.
We believe that Pierre contracted the zombie plague from patient 123, Fitzroy. We know that they were acquainted through Fitzroy’s profession (as a clown) because Pierre collected clown props. Both attended an event in Frederick, right down the street from Pierre’s haberdashery , just prior to Woodstock XIII. We think Fitzroy infected a number of cachers at this event, and we are certain that Pierre was one of them, as blood spatter samples have been collected from both specimens. Neither of them logged attendance at the Geo Woodstock; we don’t think either of them survived the night.
This travel bug is part of a larger study to take a closer look at how the zombie plague might propagate if the primary vector for spreading the disease was geocaching. Please visit the following website for further details, and a visualization of how the disease has propagated thus far based on the movement and discovery of this and other infected Zombie travel bugs:
