Current Goal

George just got his private pilot's license and wants to head over to Athens, Greece to visit his family.
The only problem is that the airplane he's flying has no navigational aids. So he needs your help to get there.

Well folks, George has been flying around for almost 3 years now and many things have changed since he first took off. He needs to get back to Calgary for some well-earned RNR. If you can help, we'd both be grateful! Thanks everyone for a wonderful adventure! ******

About This Item

George, the travel bug, needs to get to Athens, Greece to visit his family, which he hasn't seen in years.

So, he took flying lessons, got his permit and bought a small plane. All that cost him quite a lot of money and he didn't have enough to get the instrument package.

Without any thought, he took from Calgary and he's presently looking for your help to get him to his destination.

If you can help him along, then that would be great.
Once he reaches Athens, just email me and I'll arrange for his family to meet or pick him up.

    I will be travelling to Calgary this up-coming July, but do not currently have plans to travel to the DFW area before then (in fact, it's unlikely I'd be there before then). If George could 'somehow' make his way back to a cache in The Woodlands/Spring area of Texas before early July, I'm quite sure we could get him back to Cow-town.

    Wow, George has had some real adventures along the way! Unfortunately he still hasn't gotten to Greece, though Ireland, Kuwait and Iraq were a lot closer than Spokane! I'll be heading to DFW this next week and will try to find a cache near the airport to make it easier for him to hitch a ride to Greece. He may make it there yet! In the meantime, he can enjoy a couple of days on the farm here near Deer Park, WA. He might enjoy a few hours ragchewing in the old ham shack here too.
