Talk about destined to grab this guy. I first met him at the Geocache the Bluffs event in Oct. 2007, then again a month later at the East Meets West event in Nov. 2007. Then I saw him again in Aug. 2008 at the Kansas City picnic. Now, last week, I once again see him at the Kearney Picnic. I was thinking to myself "This guy looks familiar. I think we've met before." After reading the goal tag, and since I'm heading to several events in the coming weeks, I went ahead and grabbed Patrick to move him along in his goal.
From the looks of it, the list of attended events needs to be updated. The list needs to add "Wild Wonders Hike: Intro to Geocaching" (GC1M6M2), then "2009 Kearney 6th Annual Picnic" (GC1TX23).
This Saturday, it will be going to "Geodetic Center Tour '09 - MEADES RANCH" (GC1X9QD), then it will take a trip to "Jesse James Cache Bash 2" (GC1P63G). Oh, and then possibly the "Osage Treasures Historical Encounter" (GC1WACN), and "The a-MAZE-ing Chase, Grand Finale" (GC1YP47), if the owner doesn't mind me holding onto Patrick for about a month. There's another event the following week, but I'm not as sure I'll be going to that. The next event in the immediate area isn't until my event on Oct. 30th, so I'll try to pass Patrick on before then unless the owner tells me otherwise. I figure, after all these run-ins with Patrick where I've passed him up, I own him a bit. Adding four more events should help with that.
