CacheKidz! meets BigDaddyGRC

This 500^th Find Geo-Achievement Pin is NOT to be placed in any cache.  

The pin is to be given to another Geocacher who has achieved their 500^th Find Milestone. 

When a Geocacher receives this pin and they log it as retrieved they must include the date, name of the cache that was their 500^th Find and the GC number.

The pin may be Discovered, but the log must still include the required 500th Cache Find information.

Any Retrieved or Discovered logs that do not meet the 500^th Cache Find requirement will be deleted.

While waiting in line at the Whale Watching Boat Tour in Newport Beach we met BigDaddyGRC (George) and his family.

I had been on my phone looking at the geocaches in the area.  When I put my phone away, George asked Geocacher?  We started talking about Geocaching, and he said he had seen us at the Ferry Boat Dock in front of the webcam and figured we might be geocachers. While we were talking, I noticed and commented on his 500th Find pin he had on his hat. He mentioned his brother in law had given it to him when he reached his 500th Find. We talked until we started to board the boat.
While at the front of the boat looking for a spot for the family, George approached me.  I told him there wasn’t really anywhere up at the front.  George said, that’s ok I just wanted to give you this.  George gave me his 500th Find Pin. He said it since we had reached 500 Finds, he was passing it on to us!
