After spending several years in Sweden, this geocoin has a special meaning to me! Especially after I had the same experience during my third stay in Sweden. Together with Karl_XI and Reugenspass.eu we came from a stash hunt back. Suddenly and without any warning, we had our close encounter of the moose kind 
We missed the moose by centimeters and we all were shocked for a moment. Luckily nobody got hurt and honestly once in a lifetime is enough! During the geocoinfest in Ulm, Germany, I met by luck Dofferson himself and had a nice cheat about Sweden and mooses!
The Close Encounters of the Moose Kind Geocoin has been designed by Dofferson. The idea for this geocoin was born, while spending his holiday in Sweden. He took three trips to Sweden without seeing a moose and on his fourth trip one jumped in front of his car (no person or moose got hurt). It suddenly jumped in front of his car and all three (his wife, himselve and the moose) had a "WTF ?" moment. Being a true geocoin addict the first thing that came into his mind was: "hmmm would be a nice geocoin idea". After some creatives moment at his computer the design for the geocoin was born. The first artwork by Dofferson is shown below
The front side shows a moose head in black nickel for the outline and the shadow. The highlight parts are colored in yellow enemal. The backside is of multi layer design and shows a moose that is crossing a road with the text "close encounters of the moose kinds" in the same font as the science fiction movie "third kind". The deepest level (road and sky) is in glow. The final artwork for the geocoin is shown below.

The Close Encounters of the Moose Kind Geocoin is a coin out of the stunning collection of Chausson and has been transferred to the personal collection of Geo-Dragonchild.
The aim of this geocoin is to please everyone who looks at this beautiful coin and discovers it

Voor het eerst op een Geocoinfest geweest en een leuke dag gehad. Snel langs een aantal kraampjes gelopen en daarna caches gezocht in de omgeving.
Ook mocht ik deze mooie verzameling discoveren. Geo-Dragonchild bedankt voor de trackingcodes.

Op het Geocoinfest in Eindhoven, wilde ik echt bij zijn. Met Emxj hiernaar toe gegaan. Hier veel kraampjes gezien waar geocoins en trackables te koop waren. Maar op de bovenverdieping waren een aantal vitrines met verzamelingen te bewonderen 🙂. Waaronder deze bijzonder mooie van jou, Geo-Dragonchild.
Bedankt deze te mogen bewonderen in het echt en daadwerkelijk te kunnen discoveren omdat ik de tracking-codes persoonlijk van jou heb ontvangen 👍.

Voor het eerst op een Geocoinfest geweest en kan niet anders zeggen dat het een leuke dag was begonnen met cache zoeken in de omgeving toen werd het tijd om het event te bezoeken gezellig staan kletsen met bekende daarna kon ik behoorlijk veel tb`s discoveren waar deze ook onder viel ik wil je ook bedanken dat je je verzameling wilde tonen geogroetjes van Niekie

Tijdens het geocoinfest in Eindhoven heb ik ook de tentoonstelling van coins en andere trackables bekeken. Deel van deze tentoonstelling waren onder andere deze coins. Hier even iemand gevraagd om een mooie foto te nemen zodat ik het lijstje kon opvragen.
Mooie collective hoor. Het viel mij vooral op dat er van sommige coins zoveel "verschillende" zijn. Maar soms moet je goed kijken om het verschil te ontdekken.
