Ahoj! Dobry den!
What good fortune that I picked up this TB in a cache today! I am visiting my hometown (100 miles from where I live) for a 2 day training, and I took a walk in a nearby park this evening to stretch my legs after sitting in class all day.
I usually don't pick up a TB if I don't have one to trade, but since there were others in the cache, I grabbed this one. I am so glad I did, because I can help it reach its goal!
I first learned about geocaching two years ago when I was in the Czech Republic on a mission trip. One of the young students in the Vacation Bible School I was helping to lead told me all about his adventures geocaching with his dad and brother. He even quizzed me on the various acronyms used like FTF and TFTC. I decided to try my hand at geocaching after I returned home and was quickly hooked.
That young man and his father are coming to visit me 10 days from now! We will finally have the opportunity to geocache together during their visit, and I look forward to that very much. I will give them your TB before they leave, and they can take it back to the Czech Republic with them. They do not live in Prague, but in Brno which is about three hours away. However, they will fly in to Prague and may be able to drop this in a cache there before taking the train home. Even if they cannot, they will be able to place it in a cache in or near Brno, and it will be that much closer to its goal!
I will add this TB to my watchlist so that I can track its travels and see it eventually reach its goal.
