Viking/Norse Points of Interest (POIs)

Svartsvini is roaming the wild in search of Viking adventures.  Help Svartsvini visit any Viking POIs and log his adventures online for all to see!  Or just help him on his way...  Ideas for places for Svartsvini to travel:

* Any Museums, Faires, Festivals, Events, Movie sets, Villages, Vendors, or Archaeological sites related to the Norse.

* Any country or city where the Vikings traveled, traded, invaded, raided, settled, etc., e.g.: Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland; York, England; Istanbul, Turkey (previously Byzantium/Constantinople); L'Anse aux Meadows, Newfoundland. etc.

* Bring Svartsvini to any Dark Boar Vikings event (www.darkboar.com) for a hearty "welcome home" before he leaves for his next adventure!  Ask for Freyja, Finna, or Kjarden.

Svartsvini ("Darkboar") is the first Dark Boar Vikings trackable traveling wild boar. 

Dark Boar Vikings are a group of living history hobbyists in Northern California (USA) reenacting the "Viking" lifestyle.

We set up a Viking encampment at several faires per year in the Northern California region for fun and to teach kids and adults about the many aspects of the Norse lifestyle.  Check us out at www.darkboar.com and come visit us at one of our events!

Note: Svartsvini has breakable parts.  Not for children under 3 yrs.  If Svartsvini is damaged in battle or on some other adventure, please post the saga of Svartsvini's bravery in the face of danger!
