I first came here in 2008. I’ve spent the majority of most summers since working on the property. I dreamed up and built the large scale steel structures around the property as well as countless little other things. This is all pales in comparison to Peter’s work with everything else. I grew to love this place and have lived here full time for a handful of years.
All along Ive known that this cache was there. I had a good rough idea of where it was but never bothered to look. I’ve always used the sport to either find interesting places or lead others to them. I had already found the place via other means and there was already this cache so I simply let it be.
Today however I randomly became aware that this was in the cache…

It just so happens that today is the 6 year anniversary of a fairly parallel, just not covid, life event. I also happen to be on the verge of traveling past 2 caches each of which I have maintained for over 20 years. Perhaps superman will land in one of these. Or maybe I’ll make a new cache where I’m headed. A little time will tell.
