About This Item

Grandpa's Favorite Tool

My father-in-law was a farmer his whole life.  He always carried a pair of pliers for quick "MacGyver-type" repairs.

He passed away many years ago, and this is one of the actual tools he once carried in his pocket.

Along with being a farmer, he was also a Korean War veteran and was extremely proud of his service.

My son gave me this travel bug tag for Christmas, so I feel it is appropriate to use it to honor his grandfather.

Yes, after we rescued this TB from the wilds of Minnesota we haven't really taken it to any war memorials. But once we read the mission of this TB we kind of new where it needed to go.

Today was the day.

Now to find a safe place to put this one.
