The mission of this geocoin is to bring safety, security and aid to geocachers everywhere and to photographically document it's travels by having it's picture taken with Emergency Responders, Fire, EMS, ER Staff and Law Enforcement personnel along the way. Upon completion, the geocoin should return to it's owner in central Florida.
Geocoin Name: Emergency Response Geocoin
Trackable: GEOCACHING.COM
Tracking Icon: is the red, white and blue center of the Circle of Public Safety coin face.
Coin is 1.5 inch diameter bronze coin, 3.5 mm thickness, misty silver finish with epoxy coating on both sides.
This is a limited (500 coins) edition created by a Deputy Sheriff working road patrol in a northcentral Kansas County. The geocoin spawned out of the pride he and a friend shared in their jobs as public servants. They work with a number of Emergency Responders, Fire, EMS, ER Staff and Law Enforcement Departments on a daily basis so they decided to make a geocoin to represent and show the Circle of Public Safety that plays a public service role in everyday life here in the USA.
