Current Goal

This little guy has travel in his soul and the power source to get him there. After all, he keeps going and going and going.......

About This Item

Runnin' Bunny is a diehard sightseer. He even brought his camera with him. On his first release, he would like to visit Mount Rushmore, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Key West southernmost point, and the Lincoln Memorial. After he is done, he would like to return home to any cache in the 44145 zip code for a re-load and new mission.

Simply take a picture of Runnin' Bunny at any of the mentioned locations with the attached camera, update the log to indicate a mission successfully completed, and send him on his way. Don't use up the camera at one location, remember, he needs to get to all 4 spots.

If you complete one of Runnin' Bunny's 4 tourist missions and contact the owner you'll be rewarded with one of his siblings (Runnin' Bunny's, not the owners).

If you can forward or upload some pictures taken with your own camera, it would be much appreciated.

UPDATE #1

Runnin' Bunny has been to the Golden Gate Bridge. 1 trip down, 3 to go.

UPDATE #2

Runnin' Bunny was taken by a newbie cacher who has never logged into the site again. Thanks to cacher Bright One for killing Runnin' Bunny

Mike of macfamily6 took the Runnin Bunny TB from the Little Ben cache for a little exercise, and to hopefully get him a little closer to one of his destinations. Plus, he was looking mighty cramped in the cache container!

  • Runnin' Bunny runnin'... Runnin' Bunny is having a wonderful time with us while he's waiting to go to his next destination. Here he is exercising on our treadmill.

Found him. Although I'm not sure that we'll get him to California, we'll try to help him on his way a far as possible in the VERY near future. Great job getting him back on his way. We're leaving the batteries for the next finders in hopes that they can take him further.

Runnin' is finally on his way again, after being stuck with me while I injured my knee and underwent the resulting surgeries and therapies.

To encourage cachers to get Runnin' moving quickly again, and to pass on the generous spirit of his owner, who sent two likelinesses of Runnin' for my sons as a reward for helping re-unite Runnin' with his mission pack, I have equipped Runnin' with an appropriate incentive for the first travel guide that helps him resume his mission: a new 8-pack of Energizer Max AA batteries, complete with Runnin's image on the packaging!

Good luck on your travels, Runnin', and thanks for your patience and coolness during your much-longer-than-expected stay with us this winter.

Runnin' Bunny has been re-united with his mission pack, thanks to his creator! Look for him to hit the Portland, OR cache scene soon looking to hitch a ride to one of his mission destinations.

In the meantime, he has navigated the full length of the Ape Cave lava tube on Mount Saint Helens (unfortunately pictures did not turn out -- not enough light!). He has also attentively observed our house undergoing the Christmas transition, and of course he has carefully ensured that we are using only Energizer batteries on our tabletop lighted decorations ...

Thanks to the generosity of his owner, two of his siblings have permanently joined our family and will serve as a reminder to my sons of our first Geocaching Travel Bug experience.
