As a non driver, with a bus pass I still managed to complete the 31 days of August this year 2013.
It took some planning and several recci. missions but I did it!
I was so very proud of myself when it finally got to the 31st... mind you, it did seem a very very long month indeed!
It was attained with thanks to a very kind cacher in Gloucester who placed several new super hides just for this purpose. Without him I am sure many of us would have failed.Thanks ' G ' !
If taken to events, please ensure this super coin is logged both in and out correctly as several of my coins and bugs have gone to meets and then have simply vanished, thanks
This super heavy shiny geo coin is to celebrate 31 days of caching for the month of August 2013. Which I did!
At least one cache was found and and logged each and every day......
The back of the coin is a bright golden colour with the suns rays behind two cachers celebrating, sadly I achieved most of my caches on my own ....but I had so much fun.. It is engraved with my caching name of Wibsey Wench.
The front depicts a woodland scene, complete with an ammo box with XXXI inscribed on the side and there is a note book with 31 Days on the top, very similar to my planning sheet... a pretty butterfly flutters neary. There is a dark green surround with GEO - ACHIEVEMENT 31 Days of Geocaching.
All in all a fantastic coin and another generous gift from badgerbaby, thanks bb, you are a star.
