Emerson's Buddy Bot is being set out on a mission to coincide with the birth of our first son, Emerson! He would like to travel the globe, exploring anywhere he can fill his data storage with knowledge! Schools, museums, parks, planetariums, natural wonders, research areas, and educational facilities, just to name a few ideas - but really, anywhere he can learn something new! Please take pictures of Buddy Bot along the way, and include notes about what he learned while he was there! Move him along quickly, and hopefully, someday he will return to South Florida where we can retrieve him with Emerson when he's old enough to join our geocaching adventures.
Knowledge is all around us, and it's not the act of possesion, but the aquisition of that knowledge that provides the most fulfillment! Emerson's Buddy Bot represents the amazing amount of knowledge that can be gained through geocaching, and will serve as inspiration to our son as he grows to travel the world, explore educational places, and enjoy geocaching as much as we do.
