Current Goal

In honor of my boys who serve, my father and theirs who have served, the goal is the Vietnam War Memorial in Washington DC. Pics along the way are always welcomed! Semper Fi, is more than a phrase, it's a deeply held promise to all brothers and sisters in uniform and those they protect.

Stopped by to move along this TB, but it was NOT in this geocache. Guess this TB is MIA!!
Hopefully it shows up and gets logged soon!

Well, I think it's time to part company. I hope you've enjoyed our little adventure together -- I know I have.

I'm dropping Ooohraah in a really nice TB hotel here, with more travelers than I've ever seen in a single cache before. Good luck in your further adventures.

    • What a cache!
Visited 1/17/2015 Ceolmhor took it to The Iguazu Argentine Falls#3 Argentina - .6 miles  Visit Log

This was an enjoyable spot. I had to fight off five Coati and a Golden Tegu for the cache, but I had travelers that wanted to visit, and some that wanted to stay here, so I made the effort. :)

Wow! What an amazing place to visit. We saw Iguazu Falls from both the Brazilian and the Argentine side, exploring it for a day and a half. I was happy to find this earthcache, as it best represents the falls, and I let my fellow travelers "visit" the earthcache to log their presence here.

During our visit to fabulous Iguazu Falls, we spent an afternoon on the Brazil side of the falls, and that was my one chance for a cache in Brazil. 🙂

Here's the other cache I found in Antarctica -- a beautiful island that is the caldera of an active volcano. Happily, it didn't decide to erupt while we were there. 🙂

Well, this cache was my personal goal for the trip, and a great cache it is -- inside a renovated U.K. research station now run by volunteers as a museum and store. I'm afraid this is the closest I was able to get to my goal for Ooohraah. I had hoped we would also visit Palmer Station, which is an active U.S. military research station, but we weren't able to stop there.

Here we are in Ushuaia, at the extreme south end of Argentina, ready to board our ship, the Corinthian II, for an Antarctic cruise. This cache is located at a public sculpture (see photo).
