About This Item

The GeoMoto

The GeoMoto is a 2007 Suzuki V-Strom 1000.  This style of motorcycle is in a class known as the "Adventure Tourer".  This means that this motocycle is designed with extra suspension travel which allows it to go off-road when you so desire.  I would say the GeoMoto's design philosophy calls for it to be used 75% on pavement, and 25% off road.  The GeoMoto weighs in at 450 # and therefore, not ideally suited for serious off roading.  It does however, perform admirably on gravel and dirt trails, not to mention dry lake beds.

 

The Geomoto has taken me to several off road finds, which are listed in my GeoMoto Finds bookmark.  It has likewise been used to plant a few too, namely the GeoMoto series.
