Current Goal

Hi, my name is pebbles. I am very small, but my ambition is to visit as many of my big relatives as possible.

Some of my cousins are very famous, and I would like the opportunity to have my photo taken with them. I would like to visit famous ones around the world such as the Rock of Cashel, the Rock of Gibralter, Ayres Rock, Plymouth Rock, and many others. Many of my cousins are employed in some well known walls around the world. It would be great if I got the opportunity to visit Hadrians wall, the Berlin Wall memorial, the Wailing Wall, and the Great Wall of China,

Berfore starting out on my adventure, I had my photo taken here in Limerick with the famous Treaty Stone.

A glacial erratic in Polanka town is a piece of rock that differs from the size and type of rock and was hault here 200.000 years ago with continental glaciation in this Central Europe region.
This stone was found around year 1962 while sand mining in the northern part of Polanka town. Unfortunately this stone has split in to two similar parts when moving by the crane.
The collapse of the stone had to occur along the cracks, because the surface caused by the breaking of rock are perfectly straight. One half of the stone was used in 1963 to build the memorial at cemetery , the second half was used in 1964 as a memorial to the victims of World War II.
In the first half of the 90s , however, was abolished and the memorial boulder half moved to the park near Polanska's church , where it remains to this day . Polanka town authority decided about the transfer of the half of the stone from the cemetery to the park. The stone is again completed after decades.
The stone is excelling as its size and Polanka town has a new great attraction as well.
