Hazel is a brave and fearless little Rabbit who worked long and hard to save Watership down and all her family.
She planned the release of Nuthanger the farm sheepdog and between them they had many great adventures. Now Hazel wishes to simply travel from cache to cache telling everyone her story.
Perhaps you could add a photo of Hazel to her log and then we can all see where she has travelled to.
If taken to events please ensure she is logged both in and out correctly as several bugs have gone to meets and then have simply vanished, thanks..
Hazel was a small metal tag, but was stolen, now a small bunny toy and still as special.
Hazel is the lead bunny from the beautiful and moving book and then film of Watership down. It was written in 1972 by Richard Adams.
Hazel is the brave bunny who set up the release of Nuthanger the farm sheepdog, and together they try to save Watership Down. It is a story set in South Central England. I think it is a beautiful book.
We all know the song, Brighteyes from the film, but the book for me is the best. You can really get into the thoughts and minds of the characters. If you have not read the book, check it out. It is never too late!
