About This Item

Cosmo is - well a bit crazy, as you can tell by his smile.  His name derives from Cosmo - meaning Kramer, and Crustacean - which form a very large group of arthropods, usually treated as a subphylum, which includes such familiar animals as crabs, lobsters, crayfish, shrimp, krill and barnacles.  He begins his journey in Maine where he comes to kick some Rock Lobster shell via his B52 long-range submarine strategic bombing capabilities.  (If you do not understand this last sentence - Google It!

    while in town for the holidays we found Connie the crab on the outskirts of Denton, Texas. We were thinking Connie needed to be somewhere a little more like home, so we are headed south with her about 300 miles where she can enjoy the salt and sand.

    I've had some fun with Cosmo on our adventures. He loved my CD collection and even helped me place a few Warren Zevon tribute caches. Let me tell you, listening to a crab try to howl is... well... entertaining, to say the least. (Ah-oooooooo!) It's time for Cosmo to hang out with someone else, so I've put him in this well-frequented spot for another lucky passer-through to pick up. So long, Cosmo, and watch out for that piranha.
