I was born in 1932 and when I saw this date nail I had to buy it and send it out to the world. I want to go to Colorado the Birthplace of the date nail. I am leaving from Washington State my Birthplace. I really want to go to Pikes Peak. I was there before I started caching this way I can say "I nailed it" right?. After Colorado anywhere railroad related would be very cool I really like to ride trains and a picture of the nail with the Pike's Peak tram would be fantastik.
I am a 1932 railroad date nail. Back in the days they did not have computer spread sheets to keep track of things and they drove a date nail into the Railroad tie with the year it was installed. this way they knew how old it was. This particular nail was made by Colorado Fuel and Iron in Pueblo,CO and it is a type 18B nail. You would think something this old would be worth money but I got it for $1. It is a very cool artifact though.
I am attached to a Washington State flag travel tag.

I did not see your TB in GC137WK, MW1, today, 11-11-16. I made it a point to visit this cache today just to retrieve it because I live in Colorado Springs and was excited to take it to the cog for you. I hope it turns up!
1932 railroad nail attached to trackable, maybe a hiking tourist can help with its goal.
I will place it in a cache near a railroad station.
Helping it finds it's way to Colorado!
Will move along
