Current Goal

DISCOVER ME DISCOVER ME DISCOVER ME!!

My mission as a one-of-a-kind trackable is to boldly go wherever agate takes me!  I want to meet as many cachers that I can, see new places, maybe go above the clouds or into the water (well, maybe not into the water).  Caching is great!  cool  The best part is the amazing people along the way!  angel

If you find me alone, without agate nearby, please help me find my way home!  smiley

FTF #1600. Hey two FTF's in my back yard, how cool is that? Agate spotted three new cache notifications and the log on one them that it was a tad cold. He’s got a meeting soon so mickey headed out in a little more than jammies, since the two others were pretty much in the back yard. I like Bob, but I think my fav is Kevin. Not sure why but Pixar has a good Kevin too in the Up movie!! Spotted a minion with Brit flags for glasses, that was my fav here till I spotted the one in a bath towel. Too funny, thanks for placing these minions on this brisk morning Happy New Year!! 🎉

Milestone FTF here! This find is our 1600th FTF! Woo Hooo!

    For the record on FTF's:
    1691.7 miles with the 1st 100 FTFs.
    2947.5 miles with the 2nd 100 FTFs.
    3128.68 miles with the 3rd 100 FTFs.
    786.42 miles with the 4th 100 FTFs.
    50 miles with the 5th 100 FTFs.
    413.3 miles with the 6th 100 FTFs.
    1629.43 miles with the 7th 100 FTFs.
    3425.96 miles with 8th 100 FTFs
    4628.65 miles with the 9th 100 FTFs
    7020.78 miles with the 10th 100 FTFs
    1995.4 miles with the 11th 100 FTFs.
    13,149.98 miles with the 12th 100 FTFs.
21,519.42 miles with the 13th 100 FTFs. Almost doubled prior record! Helps to get FTFs in Germany and Oregon days apart. Lol
7655.06 miles with the 14th 100 FTFs. Not bad for a pandemic year!
43,561.25 miles with the 15th 100 FTFs!!! WOW!!! Another doubling of the prior record! Two trips to Germany with FTFs though and agate traveled 40 weeks in 2022, all which help this one!
17,311.89 miles with the 16th 100 FTFs!! 3rd best 100 since the start. This was another year of heavy travel until late in August when all travel basically stopped with budget cuts at Raytheon. But we did well with what we had! There was a trip to German but no FTFs there this time.
Total miles specifically with the 1600 FTFs = 130,915.4 miles

FTF #1598. Yay! Co-FTF on this cache with OldRadio, kokokawk, mikedeotis, and guardrail10 at 12:15 pm. Love these FTF parties.
Agate here. I was on my way to Wright county for a different potential FTF when this published. I was almost to the 55 exit and checked this quickly to see that this was only 10 minutes away! The other was still 50 miles so I changed my plan. I posted a note to see if others wanted to meet. It was really nice to gather such a great group! 😎

This is a very special FTF for team agate mickey! We are working on a personal challenge to blackout our daily grid. Today was one of only two remaining days! Yay! Only one more to get now!!! (Or as the song says "One Down, One to Go!") 🙂. We all enjoyed our walk in the lovely area on a very pleasant January day!

FTF #1594. Yay!!! First FTF of 2024! Nice to get this one very early in the month! Agate here. I was walking with the family when this published. By the time I got home, this had been out for 30 minutes. I wasn’t sure if I had a chance but had to run and see since these four new caches were less than 3 miles from our house! I was happy to see the blank log here at 6:55 pm. This FTF extends our monthly streak to 109!!! WooHoo!! This was the first of four for this evening!

What a wonderful event! So many friends to celebrate the end of 2023! An amazing event with a lot of attendees, great pizza (and fried chicken) and of course, all of the prizes and gifts! Happy New Year!!! 🎆🎊 Attended with geodaughter 10PinkTARDIS.

FTF #1593. WooHoo! What a lovely walk for us today. The most challenging bit was where to park and begin our trek! We definitely picked the right place. We hoped others would join but alas we are here alone (except for the large puppy 🐶 with the loud jingle bell 🔔 around its neck). Haha

This is a significant FTF for us, eliminating one more white day in our FTF daily grid. We are working on a personal black out challenge and this now leaves us with two dates to go! Yay!

Left two polished rocks and an agate mickey pathtag. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! It is amazing how mild this December has been! What a lovely day to be out hiking!

FTF #1592. We saw this publish earlier in the evening and put a watch on the cache. We needed an FTF on the 28th for our personal blackout challenge and decided that if the cache had not been found by 11:30 pm then we would head over. That’s exactly what happened. We drove the quiet drive over arriving at GZ at 5 til midnight. We waited and then very quickly spotted the cache container. Very cute by the way. Lol

Opening the container reveled the blank log! Nice to knock out one more date. Only three left to get!!! What a pleasant December evening! We are so surprised how mild this winter has been so far. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

FTF #1591. Agate here. This was the 10th of 10 Christmas Eve FTF's before heading to church for 3 wonderful services with my family and my marimba. :-)

After grabbing the first five new ones of 10 nearby, I noticed the other 5 were found by guardrail10. I messaged him to meet but but got no response. However, more of the series published while I was out here so 5 more caches here I come! This final one was especially fun because I managed to finally meet up with the legendary Guardrail10 for the Co-FTF!! And it’s hidden in an appropriate location (a guardrail) - Haha!

Nice to get these so close to home! Merry Christmas!!!

FTF #1587. Agate here. This was the 6th of 10 Christmas Eve FTF's before heading to church for 3 wonderful services with my family and my marimba. :-)

Mickey and I were cleaning the house getting ready for company when these caches were published. We didn’t notice them at first, but we did notice a message from TJ asking if we were going to head here. We told him no at first, but after a few minutes, I realized that we were just about done, and there was still time to come down here, so I jumped in the car and headed this way.

After grabbing the first five new ones nearby, I noticed the other 5 out of the new 10 were found by guardrail10. I messaged him to see if he wanted to meet up but got no response. However, more caches published while I was out here so 5 more caches here I come! Nice to get these so close to home!

FTF #1579. 8th of 10 FTFs on a brisk Monday mid morning. FTF #8 here at 11:12. Makes me wonder what I could play here when the snow flies. Soccer, or golf or who knows. Also worth mentioning, the prior find at RSMT2FBLT #33, lucky #7 FTF, seemed quite appropriate as we glanced and the intersection...AGATE STREET...see pic!
