My mission as a one-of-a-kind trackable is to boldly go wherever agate takes me! I want to meet as many cachers that I can, see new places, maybe go above the clouds or into the water (well, maybe not into the water). Caching is great!

Nice to claim my first Dublin cache here tonight! I managed to get a ticket to the Guinness Storehouse this evening. I enjoyed my self tour, Stoutie, and a free pint at the end. I bought a couple of glasses bring home to my own bar. SLÁINTE!!! Afterwards I headed here. I took my pic (attached) and moved on. Thanks for the Virtual! This one I will award a favorite point to based on my wonderful evening here.

I am spending this week in Galway for work, having just arrived into town this afternoon. This is my first time ever visiting Ireland 🇮🇪! I had some time this afternoon and wanted to go for a walk (trying to stay awake after the long journey); so I picked out a few caches near my hotel and headed out. This was my fifth and final find for tonight. I absolutely love this type of fossil; thanks for bringing me here! Time for some early dinner and turn in early tonight. Giving this one a favorite point.

Today is my 1st time ever visiting Ireland 🇮🇪 as I spend the week in Galway for work. I am riding with a couple of Co-workers from Dublin airport to Galway today, we were all a bit tired so we stopped here for a quick break. I noticed this cache and had to visit! I found it quickly; I was able to get ink to paper but be aware, the log is extremely water logged. Thanks for placing this one, nice to add the Ireland souvenir here today!!

FTF #1601. YAY!!! FTF at 11:00 pm! We barely made the cutoff here as the park closes at 11!! We are so happy we got this one! This cache is our final FTF date needed to completely blackout our calendar! Time to celebrate for sure! That is an extremely difficult personal challenge! This one also extends our monthly streak to 110!
We were somewhat resolved that we would not get an FTF today and would have to wait another year. We had praise team at our church from 7am to noon. Agate is a drummer and mickey was singing. We then had our son, daughter-in-law and grandson over for lunch and afternoon birthday celebration for our daughter-in-law. Then we had mickey’s dad over to watch the Super Bowl.
However, we had a ray of hope when we saw these publish late in the evening, only 25 miles away!! We now thought we had a legit chance to get one. The game went into overtime, quite long! But we still had sufficient time to get here before closing time to just get the one close to the entrance! The walk was easy outside of dodging lots of wildlife scat! Haha. The stars are beautiful tonight and the cool air is refreshing! We took nothing and left two polished rocks one of which was a moss agate.

Time for a work trip! This one put me in Puerto Rico for the first time ever. Fortunately I had time this beautiful evening before sunset and before the rain hit to go for a 2 mile walk from the hotel to here and back, allowing me to find my first PR cache and earn that souvenir! I had looked for a different one nearby first but that was a bust. Then I headed here. I was very happy locate this one! What a cool area for sure. Definitely low tide this evening! Gets a favorite point for location and for being my first PR cache.

FTF #1600. Hey two FTF's in my back yard, how cool is that? Agate spotted three new cache notifications and the log on one them that it was a tad cold. He’s got a meeting soon so mickey headed out in a little more than jammies, since the two others were pretty much in the back yard. I like Bob, but I think my fav is Kevin. Not sure why but Pixar has a good Kevin too in the Up movie!! Spotted a minion with Brit flags for glasses, that was my fav here till I spotted the one in a bath towel. Too funny, thanks for placing these minions on this brisk morning Happy New Year!! 🎉

17,311.89 miles with the 16th 100 FTFs!! 3rd best 100 since the start. This was another year of heavy travel until late in August when all travel basically stopped with budget cuts at Raytheon. But we did well with what we had! There was a trip to German but no FTFs there this time.

Agate here. I was on my way to Wright county for a different potential FTF when this published. I was almost to the 55 exit and checked this quickly to see that this was only 10 minutes away! The other was still 50 miles so I changed my plan. I posted a note to see if others wanted to meet. It was really nice to gather such a great group! 😎
This is a very special FTF for team agate mickey! We are working on a personal challenge to blackout our daily grid. Today was one of only two remaining days! Yay! Only one more to get now!!! (Or as the song says "One Down, One to Go!") 🙂. We all enjoyed our walk in the lovely area on a very pleasant January day!

FTF #1594. Yay!!! First FTF of 2024! Nice to get this one very early in the month! Agate here. I was walking with the family when this published. By the time I got home, this had been out for 30 minutes. I wasn’t sure if I had a chance but had to run and see since these four new caches were less than 3 miles from our house! I was happy to see the blank log here at 6:55 pm. This FTF extends our monthly streak to 109!!! WooHoo!! This was the first of four for this evening!

FTF #1593. WooHoo! What a lovely walk for us today. The most challenging bit was where to park and begin our trek! We definitely picked the right place. We hoped others would join but alas we are here alone (except for the large puppy 🐶 with the loud jingle bell 🔔 around its neck). Haha
This is a significant FTF for us, eliminating one more white day in our FTF daily grid. We are working on a personal black out challenge and this now leaves us with two dates to go! Yay!
Left two polished rocks and an agate mickey pathtag. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! It is amazing how mild this December has been! What a lovely day to be out hiking!
