    It was truly a blessing to see everyone who attended our event honoring Nancy's (aka Best Girl) birthday. 19 total attendees which is amazing! We had several gifts exchanged, a wonderful selection of potluck goodies, and a fun fire for all to enjoy. The best part was the socializing with good friends as we remembered such a wonderful lady. We really love this community! Many blessings to Bob and Nancy! You are the best, Best Girl!

    FTF #1561. I was on a work trip this week in the Melbourne area and I noticed this one get published as I was driving back to the hotel after work. I had to make a run for it since it was so close to me. I parked nearby and made my way to GZ. Excellent coords here made for a quick find for me. What a gorgeous sunset this evening! We needed this one for our monthly streak! Gets us to 105 straight months.

    Traveling across Interstate 8 today and stopped by for this virtual cache. Helps us with the August icons challenge! Man it is hot down here! (120 degrees down here!!!)

    FTF #1558. FTF at 7:00 pm. We were at church when this published at 5:30. We figured there would be no way it would still be unfound by the time we could get to it but we put it on watch list just in case.

    Church ended early, 6:15, and still no logs. It was only 3 miles from us so off we went!! Took a bit to find, it’s a somewhat difficult hide considering the multitude of options. Lol. But agate spotted the clever hide and we revealed the blank log.

    There is poison ivy in the area too so be mindful of your search if you are allergic. Agate was in shorts (oops) but he knows how to spot the evil plant so hopefully 🙏🏼 he’ll be ok.

    Thanks for the great new hide. Nice to add an FTF for our daily find needed in July.

    Agate here. Quick find after a lovely dinner at Bdubbs. Celebrating wedding anniversary with geoson Mars_Rover and his wife. We both signed this one. This keeps our daily streak going for the July challenge. It was really nice for them to pick me up after my flight home from San Diego (Mexicali visit).

    FTF #1557. Agate here. I made a long drive today from Mexicali to San Diego after 3 day of work down there. I noticed this new earthcache and decided to deviate my path to here. I love chances at earthcache FTFs because they are so rare.

    Since I see no other logs, I am claiming FTF on this one today. Very busy area. I can see why though, because the weather is amazing. Gets a favorite point. Tomorrow I return home to Minnesota.
