Current Goal

Johnny just wants to travel around from cache to cache, and perhaps have his pic taken with hospitals, paramedics, ambulances, or firetrucks. Johnny gets his name from the 1970's series "Emergency" starring Randolph Mantooth as Paramedic Johnny Gage.

Johnny Gage is going for a ride this weekend, so you will no longer find him at the falls working that call.
He will travel to Vernon County Mo first and meet my fellow EMT students and then travel south to Arkansas for placement in the Sam's Throne area.

Dropped Johnny Gage off by Fort Scott today. He had to move to a new cache to hide out from the homeless bag lady for a while. The homeless bag lady has been trying to move into the back of the ambulance-she thinks it would be a wonderful place to set up temporary housekeeping. Johnny Gage now wonders if he should have just left her laying in the park instead of saving her life.

Johnny Gage had an exciting day today and ended up being a big hero!!!!!

  • Running hot to the ER Johnny Gage was cruising along and found a homeless bag lady passed out in the local park. He scooped her up and ran hot to the ER.
  • Johnny Gage in charge Johnny Gage gets the bag lady into the ER and tells the ER nurse to hussle up and help.
  • Holy Cow-it's V tach!!!!!!! Johnny Gage checks the cardiac monitor and tells ER nurse Keith to get the defibrillator charged up.
  • Zap!!! Zap!!! Zap!!! Johnny Gage zaps the bag lady with the defib paddles and hopes for the best. Johnny Gage is starting to get just a little nervous at this point.
  • Happy Ending The bag lady is in sinus rhythm and is okay. She says "Thank you, Johnny Gage, you're my hero." Smooch, smooch.

Johnny Gage had an interesting day today. He ended up running with the big dogs today. He was just cruising down the street when he spotted some action. He stopped and checked it out and made a new friend. Paramedic Betty likes Johnny better than her big dog ambulance. She says Johnny can do wheelies and her clunky big dog ambulance can't.
