HELP!! This bug's mission is to travel to as many lighthouses as possible, but somehow it got carried inland. If you can help move it east back to the coast, even a few miles, we would sure appreciate it!!
Thanks
TB is attached to a nautical compass keychain.

I picked this up at Grosse Point Lighthouse which is right near where I live. As luck would have it, I am traveling to Wisconsin this weekend to stay with my uncle at Pottawatomie Lighthouse which he helped restore on Rock Island. It is a small island off the tip of the Door County peninsula. My uncle is a founding member of "Friends of Rock Island" whose goal was to restore the dilapidated lighthouse into its former glory. The lighthouse is fully restored and is now open to the public. My uncle acts as lighthouse keeper from time to time and has invited me to be his guest. I am thrilled at the idea of spending a night in a lighthouse. I noticed the note that goes along with this TB that indicates it is trying to get back to the east coast, I couldn't pass up bringing it to Rock Island and I know there are tons of other lighthouses all around the Great Lakes region. Hopefully it can make it to a few up there. I can't wait to see all the different lighthouses this TB travels to.

After spending sometime along the East Coast, The Lighthouse Ladybug wanted a change of pace and decided she wanted to visit a Great Lakes Lighthouse. So she'll be comfortably resting the shadows of the Grosse Point Lighthouse until somebody comes along and moves her someplace else. With nearly 88 lighthouses on Lake Michigan alone, the possibilities are endless for her to see a bunch of inland lighthouses.

Found the Lighthouse Ladybug chilling out near the Ponce de Leon lighthouse. True to the travel bugs goal ... we'll be dropping it off at another lighthouse in the future. We've already got one picked out ... Stay tuned ......

Picked up from Bug Light. Check out the kites in my log entry there! One was a huge Cuttlefish. Lots of lighthouses we can explore around here. Will move on soon...
