Current Goal

This series consists of four travel bugs;
Early memories is a slightly different type of cache than most of the others you will find. It’s a traveling digital log book. Feel free to add any comments, pictures or pieces of wisdom you see fit for all to enjoy. This cache is compatible with both Windows & Mac, But only 64MB. You may replace it with another should it get full. I only request that the original information be transferred to the new module.
Their assigned mission is included in the documentation on the actual bug itself.

About This Item

Early Memories

They are: “Old memories”, “Great memory”, “Early memories” and “Fergus & Fanny”.

Their assigned travel locations are designated, in no specific order: Antigua, Jamaica, Costa Rica, Panama, Vancouver, Quebec, Maui, Kauai, Alaska, Boston, Cape Code, Dallas, Houston, Aspen, Puerto Rico, All over Mexico, Thailand and most of the US.

Early memories: What are they? What do they mean? I know that we all have those early memories that we will cherish forever. How often do we think about those days? As we get older they generate much more meaning and we should be thankful for them.

My most memorable in the series is the “Memories of Fergus & Fanny”. These are the original ID tags of my two Old English Sheepdogs who were my faithful companions during their lifetime. Fergus was my constant backpacking buddy when no one else dared to accompany me on my treks into the wilderness, sometimes for weeks on end. He moved on to wherever great companions go on Feb. 5, 1987, to this day he is still missed. Fanny, who was a homebody, was always there to greet us enthusiastically on our return.

PS: I can be reached via email [1microdoc@cox.net] at any time and would appreciate any travel photos.

what a unique idea, we'll check it out and pass it on soon.

"we have been wanting to do this one for a while but were scared away by the "Road Closed" signs. We went the long way around (via Kilington Ave), it was a pretty, bumpy drive. A very nice little hike, Two yr old Pond Lilly kept hollering "put me down, I walk" everytime we picked her up to carry her over a muddy spot.. Found cache fairly quickly (6 yr old Pond Frog "found" it -- with a little help). took a couple toys for the sweetlets & a DJ & Cal dragonfly for mom and the "early memories" TB, left trade items and "baumrinde" TB. TFTC and for bringing us to this lovely spot, SL."
