Left Bagpuss sleeping at St John's in Notting Hill, sorry for taking so long to move him along but it's hard to find a warm and cosy cache in central London. Anyway, Bagpuss got to see a bit more of London. Hopefully now, someone will take him abroad.

  • Bagpuss slumbering Bagpuss is sleeping beside my warm fireplace at home. He's probably grateful for a warm hearth after all the cold and damp caches he's been in.
  • Bagpuss visits the Houses of Parliament Bagpuss is enjoying being a tourist around London.
  • Bagpuss and Big Ben Bagpuss visits Big Ben. Look at all the tourist muggles! This is very close to the site of another cache - the South Bank Lion, alas too small for Bagpuss to fit.
  • Bagpuss at Tower Bridge Bagpuss goes to visit the Beefeaters at the Tower and seems more impressed with the view of Tower Bridge. Again, there seems to be a nanocache nearby....

Tried to tuck Bagpuss into a new cache on Hampstead Heath today, but unfortunately the 2 'small' caches I found today were too small/full or too damp. So sadly, Bagpuss remains with me for yet another week. It has been seeing a fair bit of London though (photos to follow). Next weekend, it may be travelling a bit further too. Sorry for hanging onto him so long, but there aren't many London caches that are very large....

  • Bagpuss at Hampstead Heath Bagpuss sits on a silver birch. The pond (Vale of Health) behind him is still frozen. The cache here was too full to accommodate him.

On second thoughts, Bagpuss didn't want to go into the cold and damp cache in Regents Park after all and decided he'd stick around with me for more adventures around London before going to sleep again.

Woke Bagpuss up from his slumber beneath the logs of Camley Gardens. Will be moving him along soon when I find a cosy place for him to hibernate. In the meantime, he'll see a bit more of London.... will post photos!
