About This Item

This African shield is a miniature replica of the traditional Zulu shield used by the Zulu warriors from KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.

The Zulu warrior chief Shaka’s early 19th-century campaign to expand the Zulu nation, known as the mfecane, led to large-scale migrations that expanded from what is now Tanzania to Cape Province.

    Found the shield on my birthday. Hopefully I can take him with me to America is the owner wants me too, but I'll move him on soon. Took some pictures where I found him at The Cave. The shield is in very good condition.
