This travel bug is dedicated to my hiking companion, and fine hound Amber. Although she is a small dachsund she has gone on many BIG hikes.

There are no mountains nearby, so we left 'Amber' on a remote beach where she could run and play to her hearts content. Hopefully her next friend can take her to the mountains.

Picked up in Kinston Stump today, which is not mountainess (more of a plains), but is remote area. We don't like cities either, so will keep her up here in the UP. She can visit our sled dogs for a few days until we get to an appropriate cache.
