My Best Friend

This bug replaces a bug called Jackson "Nose" the Way. It went missing THREE TIMES. Clearly Jackson didn't "Nose" his way at all. I named this bug after my dog, Jackson. He was a good dog and like all good dogs, he's in heaven now. He gave me 15 wonderful years of companionship and affection. He was the Best Friend I ever had. Now, Jack was not a smart dog nor a handsome dog. He did however have a great nose and loved to sniff. I always thought that if I let him, he'd take off after his nose and when he finally stopped and looked up he would have absolutely no idea where he was or how to get home. So that's what I'd like this bug to do - follow his nose and sniff the things dogs love.

Just had to grab this one since I found it with my two best friends, geodogs Dream and Squeeze, . Lost best friend Disney not too long ago, he looked like a longer haired version of Jack. He was one of the best. Had a great nose too - but was brillant - half border collie and half golden retriever. Happy to move this one along for you. The picture tag seems to be missing. If you want to email the pic to me, I can replace for you. Hope to move along soon, or may put in a new cache I'm hoping to place this week. Funny thing is that Jack was sharing the cache with TB Squirrel@Random. I bet he loved chasing that fuzzy squirrel around for a while. Poor squirrel.

Apparently, Best Friend has been sitting in the Vermont mountains for a year or so! I will move him along to a new state...probably RI and send him on his way. Happy to do it. Just lost one of my dogs of 15 years and visited the Dog Chapel in St. Johnsbury, VT which is an awesome place if you are a dog lover and want to remember a lost pal. Chain on TB is broken so I will outfit it with a new "collar."
