My mssion is to travel home to Maine, visiting my relatives along the way. Please help me meet other trees across Canada, and take my picture with them.
Striped Maple One is a section of a Striped Maple tree cut in Bridgton, Maine in the summer of 2004. Most of the wood was used as drawer and cabinet pulls in the kitchen, but a few pieces survived to travel to California to meet with it's cousins, the Coast Redwoods.

Checking in and out of this ant-infested Inn in Great Falls Montana, still headed North and East.
Checked in and out of the hotel with a few other bugs on our travels east.
Logged several items through "Where is Cindarella" today, so that the owners know where they are. We are delayed by Motor Home engine trouble, but still planning on heading east. Hopefully in a few days.
Passing this one through a cache while we wait to really move it on to Canada in August.
Discovered at the 3rd Annual Cool Coastal Retreat Event in Crescent City, California. We hope to see this TB again once we get to Maine (not via Canada!).
We'll be heading into Canada in August, so we'll get this one a start on the long trip back to Maine. We'll try to get it in/out of some interesting tree places in the meantime.
