We saw someone who looked suspiciously unlike a muggle heading into the woods the same direction we intended to go. Isn't it funny how we automatically just wonder if they're cachers, too? Like people don't walk on trails for the sake of walking on trails. In any case, the un-muggle was half of the Puppers.

Jcar is right, climbing the logs is such a childhood thing that, even though it's difficult and scary, it's fun. After getting over, I was last to arrive, and, as usual, had only to sign the log. Probably not a bad thing, as my Miss Maggie Merigold is starting to act very tired these days. Oh, well, not worries; the caches are like the sprinkles on the ice cream, anyway...the real treat is just to be out, moving and being on this wonderful earth. Thanks for the cache in a lush, green jungle of windy trails.

There are some gorgeous posies growing very nearby this cache, so I took pics, as jcar said. Oh, how pretty they'd look, "pipped" and pilfered, and planted in my own space, but I took only pics. I'm a little surprised that they're not throwing a house in this empty spot, as is being done more and more in this are, with space at such a premium. Hopefully, the natural beauty of this spot will remain intact for years and years to come. Thanks for the cache.

I hadn't yet arrived in Washington when this storm hit, but I once was in an ice storm that left my family and me without power for three weeks. My son was an infant at the time. NOT something I ever care to do with a bay, ever again! As long as I have the proper amenities, though, I think I could weather the storm.

A quick, little find. Meeting you (the cache owners) just a little later in the day was an unexpected pleasantry. Thanks for the cache.

Quick little find with a view that affords a wonderful vista of Old Man Rainier, provided the day is clear, which it was. Flowers were in bloom, and all was right with the world. Thanks for the cache.

After a very, very, too-long walk that I thoroughly enjoyed (but would pay for the following day), Allanon and I found this in a cool, unexpected little grotto. We were being followed at a distance by a curious young deer. Indeed, on our way to the cache, we saw many creatures, or evidence of them, along with lots of beautiful flora. Thanks for the cache.
