This trackable would very much like to visit the city of Terrace in northwestern British Columbia (CANADA) and to have its photo taken in and nearby the city center.
Photos are much appreciated!
British Columbia was the sixth province (out of ten provinces and three territories) to join what is now Canada. This occured in 1871. The arrival of Europeans began in the mid 18th century, mainly due to an interest in harvesting natural resources. Aboriginal people, First Nations, have had a history in this area for at least 10 000 years. Unfortunately, repeated outbreaks of European infectious diseases, combined with other effects of European contact, resulted in a forty to eighty percent aboriginal population decrease post-contact.
British Columbia is a land of great diversity in geography. Within the same province there are mountain areas, tundra, prairie, desert, rain forests and the coastal region along the Pacific. Mount Robson (as seen on the picture above) is British Columbia's highest peak with an elevation of 3,954 m (12,972 ft).
The total area of British Columbia is: 944,735 km2 (as a comparison the area of Sweden is: 450,295 km2.
