Fred at the Karmann Plant! (08.20.2009)

Original Goal:
Not to be outdone by the yellow & white Jeep Travel Bugs, I’m one of twelve VW Beetle Convertible Travel Bugs originating from Rochester, New York. Okay, so there may be 10,000 of those Jeeps floating around, but twelve Beetles are just as good as 10,000 Jeeps, any day!

Our goal is to make it ‘home’ to Germany. I would love to end up at any of the following three places:
1. Volkswagen AG, Wolfsburg, Germany (VW Headquarters)
2. Stiftung AutoMuseum Volkswagen, Wolfsburg, Germany (The official VW Museum)
3. Wilhelm Karmann GmbH, Osnabruck, Germany. (Karmann, in collaboration with VW, manufactured the ‘old’ air-cooled VW Beetle Convertibles from 1949 to 1980)
