This is the first of a series of travel bugs dedicated to the life and works of B.F. Skinner.


My introduction in to him was when I read his book Walden II which described a fictional utopia based on psychological principles. It was a wakeup call for me as a teenager starting to work out the world for myself. Because I didn’t understand Skinners reasoning behind the book it never settled well with me.


Today, my view of the book has changed, but the sorts of society that he envisioned takes a great deal more cooperation than many people are willing to comply with. I cannot imagine me personally living in such a society.


So to start with this travel bug’s goals are to go to Walden Pond. Please photograph it with Walden Pond in the background then send it back to the Chicagoland area where ClickChik can retrieve it.
